THE CONVIVIUM TEAM IS COMING TO WOODSTOCK!

This year the Convivum team felt they could do more and decided to bring their festival to Woodstock. They want to reach people on a grassroots level through heritage food.

 “The lineup will be a bunch of crazy-talented people but they’re cooking things like tripe potjies, offal samoosas and really using cheap and forgotten ingredients.” says co founder Andy Fenner

More about Convivium: 

 Convivium is an event that aims to showcase food, chefs and producers in the most primal way possible. The way they do this is to close the gap between the end product (a meal) and the starting point (the earth and the animal).

Food is the catalyst that Convivium uses to shine light on the environment and social issues too, in a effort to identify challenges facing society today. More importantly, it will hopefully get people talking. It is – at its core – an opportunity to get people asking questions about our food industry.
