Gomotsegang Modiselle and Oginga Siwundla

Gomotsegang and Oginga started their journey in food business when they became restaurant owners after the love they received from the public as fan favourites of the show My Kitchen Rules South Africa.They are now cousins in law and business partners.
Gomo started cooking in his mothers kitchen at a young age. She ignited his love for food and taught him most of what he knows today. He has worked in kitchens for many years, starting at home and eventually working his way up.
Oginga comes from a marketing background that spans over 10 years but has always had a love for food. In his youth he was a rasta and which took him on a vegetarian diet that required finding different and interesting ways to prepare vegetarian meals. This was the beginning of his love affair with cooking.
After entering the show together the two learned that they make a good team and decided to continue the relationship in the industry and open a restaurant- Hot Skillet is based in Bree Street, Cape Town.
